TRIDENTE is crafted alongside Master Distiller Manuel Cedeño Cruz, an icon in the Tequila Industry. He has served on the Tequila National Chamber (CNIT) and the Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT) – two of the most important tequila regulatory organizations in Mexico.

A TRIDENTE is featured widely in mythical, historical, and modern culture, often used as a symbol of greatness in the form of a Three-Pronged Spear. Three spears combined to create something powerful and unique. Spears like the ones you see on the tips of the agave plants.
TRIDENTE was founded with the idea of crafting something truly special, representing the distinct regions of Mexico which produce Blue Agave, each truly unique in flavor and composition.
3 Unique Growing Regions
Our agaves originate from these 3 rich and fertile agave regions of Mexico: Jalisco’s Highlands, Nayarit’s Mountain Range, and Michoacan’s Tierra Caliente.
JALISCO, where it all began. Tequila was originally crafted here and has since spread across the world. Blue Agave from this region is what most people experience, a robust body with a smooth finish.
NAYARIT, a rich cultural State which is one of the five allowed to produce Tequila in Mexico. Popular for its Rivieras and indigenous roots, Blue Agave from Nayarit added a unique sweetness to TRIDENTE.
MICHOACAN, a state renowned for its spiritual and artistic background, Blue Agave from this region was smoother than other regions, thus giving our blend an elegant and soft body.

Elixer of the Gods
The origin of Mezcal has a myth. It is said that a lightning bolt struck an agave plant, Looking and opening it, releasing its juice. For this reason, the liquid is called the “Elixir of the Gods” or the “Drink from Heaven” and its drinking ritual is still used among current consumers. The drinking ritual is to proffer it to the 4 cardinal points and then spilling a small portion onto the ground as an offering to the Mayahuel, the Goddess of Maguey and the fertility of the earth. Santiago Matatlan, Oaxaca is Mezcal’s World Capital.
We have crafted Mission Cielo in the land that gave birth to first agave plant offering an incredibly smooth body with a smoky finish. This is the fruit of our unique Maguey selection process as well as our state of the art distillation process. Mission Cielo pays a tribute to those who centuries ago created and perfected this magical spirit.
